How do I insert an image into a web page using the site editor content management system?

1) First you'll want to properly format your photos at 72dpi and probably around 200x200 pixels. But the display size will depend on the image and how you're using it.

2) Next step is to upload the image into your upload area. Use the "browse" button to find the image on your computer and then press the "upload" button. This will load the image onto the web server for use in your web site. You'll see the file display in the list of files as the example below shows.

3) Now find the file you want to use and right-click on the file name. Choose "Copy shortcut" from the menu that pops up. You now have the path to that image saved to temporary memory.

4) You should still be logged in as an administrator so go to the page you want to insert the image into and go into "edit mode". Place your cursor to the left of where you want the image to appear. Typically a right-justified image looks best so for this place your cursor to the very left and at the start of a new paragraph like the example below. You'll see why in a minute.

5) Now press the little picture icon and up will pop the following dialog box. Clear out the "Image URL" field and then paste (Ctrl+V) into that field. The path to the file should still be saved in temporary memory. Also set the Layout > Alignment to "Right" so that the photo appears to the right with text that wraps around it. Press "OK"

6) And that's it! You'll now see the photo appear in the editor window. Just save your changes and you're all done.
